The center of the city had many beautiful buildings from the romantic period, not forgetting the neo-gothic City Hall.
Castles and palaces

The large palaces, as the other buildings of the romantic architecture, were constructed in the 19th century.

The English Park is the biggest park in München, very much like the Hyde Park and the Regent Park in London. The olympic park was the location of the 1974 olympics, famous for the incident where israelis were kidnapped and killed in the olympic village.
