Problems with the OS/2 LAN Fix Modules - LS20FX and LS13FX       9/21/92
 
  There has been some confusion generated by the README's for the LAN
fixes recently placed in the Software Download Library. These fixes are
going to become unavailable temporarily until corrections are applied.
 
  First, the header on the README mentions the DOS LAN Requester, but
there is no other mention of DLR in the README and there are no modules
specifically for DLR. This is apparently causing some confusion.
 
  The instructions with the LS13FX states that the fix is for all
OS/2 1.3 EE systems (with CSD 5050 installed), including systems with
LS 2.0. Some customers have been reporting problems with the LS13FX
installed on systems with LS 2.0. Do not install either LAN fix on
OS/2 1.3 systems with LS 2.0 until these problems are resolved.
 
  Finally, there have been some questions on whether the fixes should
be installed on Servers or not. The README header only mentions the
Requester. The correct fix should be installed on both the Server and
all Requesters. The READMEs will be corrected to indicate this clearly.
 
  We apologize for any confusion these fixes may have caused and should
have the READMEs and fix modules corrected and available again shortly.
