AccountsNow 1.1 addendum Tutorial
1. You can now specify a .ANF file as a parameter when running run.bat file, which will directly open that ANF file when the application starts up.
2. A new type of transaction has been added - "Sub Group Transaction". It specifies the amount and purpose for the transaction. You can specify who paid for the transaction. Then you can add all the Persons who are going to share the expense. Note that you have to add ALL the people who are going to share the expense. So if the person who originally paid for the expense is also going to share the expense, you will have to explicitly add that person in the "shared by" list. You can basically drag and drop as many Persons as needed. Initially only one slot for one Person to be added is shown, but as you do the addition, more and more slots show up. There must be atleast one person to share the expense for the transaction to be valid.
3. Now, after consolidation of transactions, you see three different things - the Original transactions (this is new), Individual transactions and Consolidated transactions.
4. An examples directory has been added. Just run the example1.bat file to see an example of all Transactions in the system.
5. Note that the file format for version 1.1 is different from 1.0 and they are not compatible. So you may have to recreate the ANF files again, if you have existing 1.0 ANF files. Also if you have installed previous version, you must completely remove the installation directory and install the new version.
