This is the new version of UltraFind, a high speed professional Find File utility specially developed for System 7 that can quickly find anything - anywhere on your system or network, and open it (or copy, move, read, label, backup or trash it).

Whatever you're looking for; documents, fonts, sounds, images, XTensions, filters, programs or Email messages, UltraFind will get them for you very, very quickly, searching any mounted media; hard disks, SyQuests, CDs, Opticals etc., or everything on your network. (It can even search remote volumes over your modem if you use Apple Remote Access). 

UltraFind doesn't need to know the names of file(s) you are looking for, it uses scraps of information, anything you can remember about the file(s). Like any part of the name, what application created it, or what 'Type' of file it is (ie: are you looking for PageMaker documents, or EPS, TIFFs or font suitcases?) or files matching an approximate date, label or size. UltraFind will even search for any unusual words it may have inside it, like someone's name, part of an address, telephone number, product or account code, keyword, caption, title, author etc.

Once it has found something you need, UltraFind will give you detailed information on it, open it, copy or move it across your disks, network or modem, back it up, re-label it, or trash it.  You can even look inside and read files that you can't open, locate selected text -and copy it out.
