The 141 loggings received for December is up 70% from the average of the last 5 months! Fortunately our esteemed publisher has allowed me to overflow a few pages to enable me to include all this information. I'd also like to thank Sergio Gelato and company for allowing me to publish the RM grid above. Hopefully this will become a semi-regular feature here. Site ID's are from the 1992 Passport to World Band Radio. Mike Wolfson wrote in RE: the question about Bishkek last month. He found the city of Byshlyak, USSR in the National Geographic Atlas of the World at 51Deg 40' N by 25Deg 58' E, so this may be the correct city. A note from Andy Sennitt on the ANARC BBS suggests that he now has access to some kind of computer BBS in the USSR from which he can retrieve RM schedules and site information! I will follow up on this to see if there is any way others can get access to this information directly. That's all I have for this month. By the time you read this I will have returned from a two week trip to New Zealand. More on that in next month's column, assuming I have room to print it! 73, -Jason
