The recent edition of the CVC contains roughly 100 despriptions (NOT sources !) of AMIGA viruses and 225 entries for other platforms. This collection is far from complete as the analysis work is mostly done by a few students, but the information given herein should be sufficient to detect and remove all analyzed viruses. The Computer Virus Catalog is copyrightened by the Faculty for Informatics of the University of Hamburg; it may be copied freely as long as it remains unchanged and a copyright notice is attached. All rights remain reserved. The CMBase program is copyrightened by the author, Jens Vogler; it may be copied freely and distributed on public domain/shareware media as long as the archive remains unchanged and a copyright notice is attached. All rights remain reserved; this status is normally called freeware. This program was specifically designed to work on ALL Amiga models and operaing system releases; it has been tested on A500, A1200, A2000 and A4000/040 computers using OS 1.2, 1.3, 2.04 and 3.0.
