A Saab 35 Draken fighter kept as a monument at the Finnish air forces base in Tikkakoski. In the background old Russian made BUK air interception missiles. Saab built these fighters 1955 to 1974. Altogether the Finnish Air Forces had 50 Drakens in various versions. The last ones were taken out operational use in the year 2000.

US Air forces F-4 Phantom raised as a monument in Keflavik, at the former US air base. The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighters were assigned to Keflavik in 1973 and it was in use there until in 1984 it was announced that the unit would get new F-15 fighters.

US Air Force's no.6693 looks like a normal commercial Boeing B737 commercial jet, but it is not. It is a Boeing C-40B Clipper, a military version of the B737-700. This one is from the year 2003 and it is said to have a VIP configuration inside. It brought some people to take part in a large NATO training in Norway. Here it is just braking after a landing. RA 09090 is a Dassault Falcon 7X jet which belongs to the Special Detachment of Russian Air Forces (Special Flight Squadron). Not much is published about its operations, but it seems that after taking this picture, it left Paris CDG on the same day 11.11.2019 and flew for 11,5 hours and then landed in Brazil. It came back to Paris two days later.

Two USAF Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II fighter jets visited Finland during the Turku airshow 15.-16.6.2019. This is one of the two new stealth fighters.
