Here are some sources for the pc532. //jvh 921116. pc532.MK78.tar.Z A Mach 3.0 kernel port. This tar doesn't have the very newest drivers. A new release will be made some day. pc532.MK80.tar.Z This is an intermediate release. A cleaned up, more complete, better tested, and easier to build release will be made out of MK81 RSN. XBSDSS1.udiff.Z A port of the Net2 based single server to the pc532. Also includes some fixes for the i386. This file is a unidiff with new files included. This code is derived from BSDSS4 but is numbered separately. XBSDSS1.tar.Z A complete source tree with diffs applied. The files ENV.* are included for reference. When I cross compile the sources on a decstation I start a new zsh and source the environment into the shell. I then say just make. You need to get ODE make. It is distributed as part of the mach3.user collection. Note that the BSDSS port is NOT complete. It boots for me but doesn't come up multiuser. I'm distributing it for the benefit of those wanting to hack on it. If you just want to use it, you should be very patient or alternatively start fixing it your self. BSD1.udiff.Z A port of the net2 libraries and utilities to the pc532. Again, this is a private numbering. The distribution is a diff to the net2 tape as released by UCB. You need to get the original tar. Look in nic.funet.fi:/pub/OS/4.3bsd/net2 if you can't find it in a place closer to you. The makefiles included work with my Mach build environment using CMU make. It assumes that all makefiles from the backing tree (containing the rest of net2) have been deleted. BSD1.tar.Z The same as above but in a differebt format. The bnr2ss server and net2 utilities and libraries contain source code from the following sources: - Code written at Helsinki University of Technology by Johannes Helander and others. - Mach 3.0 as distributed by CMU. - Mach 3.0 pc532 additions from HUT. - BNR2SS as sometimes distributed by CMU. - BNR2SS additions from HUT. - 4.3BSD Reno (libm) - 4.3BSD net2. - 386BSD (etc/init) Many files do not yet have changelog entries. The files in this distribution are mostly modified. To get the unmodified sources, get them from somewhere else. At this time I can't promise anything about how well bnr2ss or the libraries and utilities work. I had to remove some files whose origins were unknown and possinly contaminated. I have replaced them with other code. The current sources have been compiled (by gcc 2.3.1) but not tested. This release is just for the benefit of those wanting to contribute to the effort. Please send any fixes to mach-532@cs.hut.fi. To join the list send mail to mach-532-request@cs.hut.fi.
